Pedagogical experience

Experience in teaching to university students

1980–1995: courses in calculus, linear algebra, differential equations and theory of probability for 1st, 2nd and 3d year students in various engineers and computer specialities at the Ivanovo Power Engineering University, Russia.

2001–2004: courses in calculus, linear algebra, differential equations and logic for 1st and 2nd year students in various engineers and computer specialities at KTH. Course leader 2003-2004 (see http://www.math.kth.se/math/student/courses/5B1132/T/200304/ and http://www.math.kth.se/math/student/courses/5B1133/T/200304/ )

Experience in teaching to school students

Have organized a number of mathematical circles to gifted students in both Ivanovo and Stockholm and teached there. During 1997–2002 summers have been a leading lecturer in a nation-wide Kirov’s Summer Mathematical School in Russia. A number of students have been awarded at National Math Competition in Russia and International Math Olympics (Russia: Danil Chapovalov 1998 Bronze ; Iuori Lifchits 1999 Gold, 2000 Gold; Andrei Khaliavine 2000 Silver, 2001 Silver, 2002 Gold; Ukaraine: Galyna Dobrovolska 2003 Bronze, 2004 Gold; Oleksandr Tsymbalyuk 2004 Silver; Sweden: Valentina Chapovalova 2002, 2003, 2004 - all Bronze).

Swedish circles are available via internet (see e.g. http://servus.math.su.se/matcir/ , Programmet , http://217.68.34.194/mattecirkel/index.htm and  http://shap.homedns.org/sks/svenska/ )

A book is published (in Russian): "Bottle-neck principle", Moscow, MCCME, ISBN 5-94057-234-0

Experience in arranging of mathematical competitions

Composed more then 200 original problems for mathematical competitions for secondary school students, including Russian National Olympiad , International Tournament of Towns, Moscow Mathematical Olympiad, Kvant Summer Tournament, Tournament of Towns summer conferences.
